For those that are not already aware, the response from No10 to the 3,500 people that signed the first petition regarding qrm caused to short wave frequencies by home power line adaptors was quite encouraging, so much so, that a new petition has been created requesting that all adaptors that do not comply with regulations be removed from the UK market.

Most, but not all, of the adaptors are notched in the amateur bands (except 5 MHz) but even so, still cause an increase in the noise floor between 2-34MHz.
So, if you value your ability to continue to receive shortwave signals it might be worth taking a look at the petition.
